The New Jersey Middle School Association is a state-wide organization designed to promote effective practices in middle level education. We are rebranding (effective date 7/1/2012) our organization and changing our name to New Jersey Association for Middle Level Education (NJAMLE) to stay in line with the national organization (Association for Middle Level Education, AMLE). Visit our web site often for information regarding upcoming middle level events, articles on best practices, and more.

Please consider joining our organization! Membership is $39.00 for one year, and we now have the opportunity for dual membership in both NJAMLE formally NJMSA and the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE), formally National Middle School Association (NMSA). This dual membership is only $109.00 for the year!

With membership in AMLE, you will receive our newsletter, At the Core, important notices about upcoming conferences and events, and more. Join us in helping to promote quality middle schools and teaching across the state! See our contact page for more information.

Conference News for 2012This year our conference will take a different approach where we will bring our sessions to two different locations. The conference title is The 3 R's of Middle School, with the focus being on Rigor, Relevance and Responsiveness to Middle Level Education. We will be holding the events at William Patterson University on March 2nd and Rider University on March 9th, 2012. The same sessions and format will be followed at each location with the Feature Session, The Data Trail, being presented by, Dr. Tracy Severns.
